Oasis Car Rental is operated by Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd.
The car is delivered in working order and neat condition. The vehicle shall be returned in the same condition of neatness and same fuel level, otherwise an agreed amount will be deducted from the deposit. The car is delivered with five good tyres without cut; for any damage other than normal wear and tear, the renter pays the cost. Smoking and pets are strictly not allowed in the car.
Under penalty of cancellation of the insurance policy, the renter binds himself not to allow the car to be driven by any other person than himself or those approved by Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd and for whom he answers.
Normal wear and tear is Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd's responsibility. Any repair arising from abnormal wear and tear, or due to lack of care of the renter, including accident against a third party or property, shall be chargeable to the renter and carried out by Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd.
The rental fees as well as the deposit amount are payable in advance. In no case shall the deposit be used for a prolongation of hiring.
The renter must contact Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd in case of breakdown or accident. The renter has no right to repair the vehicle, nor shall he abandon it.
The renter remains solely liable for fines, contraventions and other proceedings against him. Oasis Car Rental Co Ltd reserves the right to have the car verified anytime and anywhere. The renter is responsible for any illegal item found in the car while in his possession, or the possession of anyone he gave access to.
Upon the issue of cyclone warning class 3, the vehicle shall not circulate, otherwise the renter is responsible for any damage. During a cyclone warning the renter shall keep the car in a safe place; if he cannot, he must contact the company as soon as warning class 1 is in force to seek help.
The car is covered by a fully comprehensive policy with an of Rs 35,000. In the unlikely event of an accident, the renter is responsible for the first Rs 35,000 plus an additional daily fee during the repair time, as per the normal tariff.
The car during the renting period is on the full responsibility of the renter. The company is not responsible for any illegal activities being carried out, or illegal products found in the car. The renter bears all the consequences on his own.
Smoking, drinking and drugs are not allowed in the car. If there is any odour or trace of burn upon return of the car, the deposit amount will be held and the renter will bear all cost of cleaning.
